We will handle everything involved in a proper and thorough pool closing and opening, including:
- Disassembling/assembling all parts, including the pump, motor, filter, heater, and valve.
- Removal/reinsertion of all plugs from suction and return lines
- Thorough emptying and cleaning at the end of the season, including removal of all trash/debris.
- Getting your pool started at the beginning of the season and making sure that all equipment is completely functioning properly

Vinyl Liners
Pool People uses the highest quality vinyl liners available. Each liner comes with a 15 year limited warranty. Accurate measuring of a pool liner is extremely important. An inch can be the difference between a perfect fit and the liner being too small and splitting. Pool People has extensive experience in measuring and installing pool liners.
Your pool liner should be replaced if it shows visible signs of aging such as the following:
- Sun or chemical bleaching
- Loss of elasticity
- Tears/rips in the liner
What is the replacement Process?
- We will meet with you at your pool to take measurements of your pool and provide you with our available pool liner samples/patterns to choose from.
- Pool People will collect your deposit.
- We will call you when your liner has been manufactured (usually 1 week).
- Pool People will arrive on your scheduled installation day and begin the process of installing your liner.
- Liner installations are usually a two or three day process of draining, removal/disposal of old liner, installation of new liner, add water to a certain level, install face plates, and complete water fill.
- Your Pool liner should only be replaced by a Pool People professional. Proper liner installs demand experience and skill.
How much does it cost?
Prices are quoted for each individual pool and can vary significantly. A complete install includes:
- Drain pool and haul-off old liner.
- Install new liner of your choice, new return faceplates and "eyeballs," all new gaskets, and new skimmer face plates.
- Fill pool.

Drowning is the second leading cause of death for children 1-14 years old, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and an extensive study performed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) found that "75 percent of the children involved in swimming pool submersion or drowning accidents were between 1 and 3 years old."
We are proud to offer quality Swimming Pool Safety Covers made by Loop Loc and Merlin. Safety pool covers usually come in two varieties: Mesh & Solid.
Mesh Safety Swimming Pool Covers
Mesh safety pool covers are designed for long-term use, such as when closing a pool for winter. Mesh safety pool covers require little maintenance because debris that lands on them blows off the top, and rain and snow drain through the mesh panels. Mesh safety covers are recommended if you leave the pool equipment running through the winter.
Solid Safety Swimming Pool Covers
Solid safety pool covers work similarly to mesh covers in that they can be secured to a deck by anchors. Unlike mesh covers that allow water to drain through the cover, rain can accumulate on a solid cover, creating a puddle of water over the pool. To combat this problem, we can have our manufacturers incorporate drain panels into solid vinyl covers. Small cover pumps that automatically pump water off the cover as soon as it is detected may also be used. Solid safety covers are recommended if you are going to shut down the equipment through the winter and you want a clear pool upon opening in the spring.
